Preparing for your Pre-Registration Appointment

Pre-registration is when you determine your class schedule for the upcoming term. You must meet with an advisor before you can pre-register for classes.

Incoming Students

Your UNA email address and password are provided in your acceptance letter. Your UNA email address will serve as your log-in credentials for all UNA accounts.

· Set up DUO two-factor authentication – instructions here: Duo (una.edu)

· Sign your Financial Responsibility Agreement to remove the hold on your account (under the "Student Accounts" tab on UNA Portal)

· Review your Academic Profile in UNA Portal to verify that your major is listed correctly and that test scores have been received.

· Review your DegreeWorks Degree Audit to verify prior credit has been articulated (AP, transfer, etc.) - /successcenter/uas/docs/Degree-Works.pdf 

· Consider English and Math placement tests if needed: /successcenter/testing/index.html 

Current Students

· Review your DegreeWorks Degree Audit to verify that you’re on track with your academic progress.

· Prepare questions to ask your advisor about course selection, academic progress, and career opportunities in the field of your major.

· Schedule an appointment with your advisor using their online calendar, or email to set up an appointment time.

· Keep your appointment. Call or email your advisor if you must cancel.
